Dedeco Classic Red Flexies (Medium) Rubber Wheels 7/8″ x 1/8″ 100/Bx
Vendor: Dedeco International
SKU: DD5005
The Dedeco 5005 Classic Red (Medium) is the standard version of the medium-grit rubber wheel. While the “Flexies” version is softer, the 5005 is a firmer, square-edge wheel designed for more stable and direct material removal.
Think of the 5005 as your “workhorse” for the initial smoothing phase. Its 7/8″ x 1/8″ size and medium grit make it perfect for leveling out casting investment marks or deep scratches on gold, silver, and dental alloys before you move to finer grits.
Why it’s a shop staple:
- Fast Material Removal: Medium grit provides a quick, aggressive cut to save you time at the bench.
- Firm Square Edge: Holds its shape better than flexible wheels, making it ideal for flattening surfaces or defining sharp edges.
- Versatile Metalwork: Excellent for both precious jewelry metals and non-precious dental frameworks.
- Long-Lasting Bond: Tough silicon carbide abrasive is blended throughout the rubber for a consistent finish as the wheel wears down.
Bulk Value: Packaged in a 100-count box for high-volume production
