Tokuyama Estelite Sigma Quick Syringe, OA1, 3.8 g is used for direct anterior and posterior restorations that require an opalescent A1 shade with added opacity for improved control of underlying darkness. OA1 is designed to reduce the dark shine-through that can occur when little or no backing tooth structure remains, making it especially useful for Class III and Class IV anterior restorations.

In a fractured incisal-edge case, the material can be placed as an opalescent dentin layer to help manage the influence of the oral cavity before final contouring and polishing. It may also be used for composite veneers, diastema closure, and composite or porcelain repair when the optical characteristics of OA1 suit the restorative plan. Each pack contains 1 syringe with 3.8 g of OA1 Estelite Sigma Quick light-cured universal composite. Dental offices ordering opalescent composite from their supplier can buy this OA1 configuration for layered esthetic restorations requiring a specialty shade rather than a standard body shade.

The composite uses uniformly spherical supra-nano fillers that support smooth finishing, high gloss retention, wear resistance, and favorable light diffusion. Its syringe delivery format permits controlled dispensing for incremental placement, while the sculptable, non-sticky consistency helps maintain proximal form, facial anatomy, and incisal contours before polymerization. The material is compatible with routine direct restorative bonding and light-curing workflows.Estelite Sigma Quick incorporates Tokuyama’s Radical Amplified Photopolymerization Technology, or RAP Technology, to provide extended working time under ambient operatory light while supporting efficient curing.

Under specified lighting conditions, the material offers up to 90 seconds of manipulation time, giving the clinician additional opportunity to refine anatomy and layering before light activation. With suitable curing-light output and qualifying increment thickness, curing can be completed in approximately 10 seconds. The spherical filler architecture contributes to the chameleon effect, polishability, radiopacity, low shrinkage, and resistance to wear.

This OA1, 3.8 g syringe variant is distinguished by its opalescent shade behavior, enhanced ability to control dark oral-cavity influence, and suitability as a dentin-style layer in esthetic anterior restorations.
