Tokuyama Estelite Omega Syringe, EA2, 4 g is used for direct anterior and posterior restorations that require an EA2 enamel shade, layered esthetic control, and precise anatomical reproduction. EA2 belongs to the enamel group within the Estelite Omega polychromatic system and is designed for rebuilding the enamel layer while allowing the selected dentin shade to influence the final optical result.

In a Class IV anterior restoration, EA2 can be placed over the dentin build-up to establish facial contour, incisal form, and enamel translucency before finishing and polishing. It can also be used for direct veneers, diastema closure, Class V restorations, and porcelain repair when an EA2 enamel layer is appropriate for the planned hue, value, and chroma. Each pack contains 1 syringe with 4 g of EA2 Estelite Omega light-cured composite. Dental offices ordering enamel-layer composite from their supplier can buy this EA2 configuration for layered esthetic restorations using the Estelite Omega polychromatic system, since EA2 serves a specific optical role as an enamel shade rather than a dentin or effect shade.

The material contains 82% filler by weight and 71% by volume, using spherical silica-zirconia and composite fillers ranging from 100 to 300 nm with an average particle size of 200 nm. This filler architecture supports smooth polishing, gloss retention, wear resistance, radiopacity, and reduced polymerization shrinkage. The syringe format allows controlled dispensing during layered restorative procedures, while the sculptable consistency supports development of facial surfaces, line angles, proximal contours, and incisal anatomy.Estelite Omega uses Tokuyama’s Radical Amplified Photopolymerization Technology, or RAP Technology, to provide extended manipulation time under ambient operatory light while supporting efficient curing.

EA2 provides up to 90 seconds of working time under specified conditions, giving additional time for layering, contour refinement, and surface characterization before light activation. Depending on curing-light intensity and increment depth, the material can be cured in as little as 5 to 10 seconds under qualifying conditions. The uniformly spherical fillers promote controlled light diffusion and a high-gloss final surface while supporting the strength needed for direct restorative use.

This EA2, 4 g syringe variant is defined by its enamel-specific shade, reusable delivery format, and compatibility with the Estelite Omega polychromatic layering approach for customized esthetic restorations.
